About Me

My name is Stephen Thorne. I am a fan of Newcastle United FC but I also support teams across the North East (except Sunderland). Following a dispute with the Mike Ashley regime at NUFC, I have decided to boycott my beloved club and now wander between different teams, looking for alternatives to the capitalist shallowness of elite sport.

Among my other interests are film, history and philosophy.

I am a graduate of the University of York and Bristol University. From September 2015 I will be teaching history in a London secondary school.
